Safety and community rules
VibeMatch only works if people can trust it. These rules apply to every chat, and breaking them gets you blocked.
The rules
- You must be 18 or older. We block anyone who appears to be under 18.
- No nudity or sexual content, and no asking for it.
- No harassment, threats, hate speech or bullying, including about someone's race, religion, gender, sexuality or disability.
- No spam, advertising, scams, or links that send people somewhere else.
- No recording, screenshotting or sharing other people without their permission.
- No illegal content or activity of any kind.
Protect yourself
- Stay anonymous. Don't share your full name, phone number, address, school, workplace or social media.
- Assume anything you show or say could be recorded by the other person, even though that breaks the rules.
- Never send money, gift cards or codes to anyone you meet here.
- Leave the moment a chat feels wrong. Press Next, or Esc on a keyboard.
Reporting
Press Report during a chat to flag the person you're talking to. In video chat, a still image of their video at that moment is attached so moderators can see what happened. Moderators review reports and can block people for a set time or permanently.
If you are in danger
If someone threatens you or you think a person is at risk of harm, contact your local emergency services. If you see child sexual abuse material anywhere online, report it to the NCMEC CyberTipline or your national hotline.
